About Broce Broom
With that one revolutionary product, Broce Manufacturing Company was established in 1961. In almost four decades since, Broce Manufacturing has grown to become the largest manufacturer of self propelled sweepers in the world. From 1961 to 1985, Broce Manufacturing developed and built front engine mechanical drive sweepers. In over a decade since then, Broce has developed and manufactured rear engine hydrostatic drive sweepers. Broce's innovations, including a fully enclosed and air conditioned cab, a unique water spray system, and the capability for top road speeds of 35 miles per hour, have improved driver comfort, and increased productivity. Ray Broce passed away on March 20, 1982, but his spirit lives on in a company that now has over 100 dealers based in 45 states across the country, and ships Broce Brooms to countries around the world.
