Broadsword Marine Contractors was founded by Grant Farris in 2004 with one catamaran - the "MV Broadsword". This vessel was used daily as a construction crew transfer vessel. It was also used extensively throughout the jetty construction phase of the Conoco Philips Gas Plant at Wickham Point in Darwin Harbour.
