I am a Licensed Professional Counselor through the Oklahoma Department of Health (#3059) and a Professional Member of the American Counseling Association (#6457753). I provide mental health services to individuals, c... hildren, adolescents, families, and couples. I specialize in the treatment of a wide variety of problems and challenges. I have over 20 years of mental & behavioral health experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families in crisis, home and community-based settings. I started my career working at Parkside Mental Health Hospital in an out patient setting, and then moved to working in an intensive day treatment stabilization program. I then worked for Tulsa Public Schools as a school based social worker providing individual and group therapy to students and parents. I have worked for home and community based agencies for 20+ years. I am the owner and therapist of Brighter Beginnings Counseling Services, Corp. I use an eclectic mix of therapy styles based on each individual's strengths to help develop an understanding of the issues that are preventing them from meeting their full potential and life goals. Included in my modality are: EMDR, Gottman Method, Play therapy, Art therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
