Who is BRIDGERLAND TECHNICAL COLLEGE
Since 1995, the Bridgerland Community Ice Arena has made great strides towards its vision of an indoor ice arena. Specifically, the organization has: Researched and developed a comprehensive business Secured a site at 2825 N. 200 E. in North Logan, Utah Created a partnership with Cache County, Logan City, North Logan, and Hyde Park Completed designs and construction plans for a $5.8 million Raised approximately $4 million from public and private sources Raised $500,000 for an endowment for operations and maintenance Worked out an agreement for the facility to be owned by a municipal building authority and managed by Bridgerland Community Ice Arena, Inc. (BCIA) Having determined that sufficient funds were on hand to construct at least a "bare bones" facility, BCIA began construction on the arena in June of 2001. This basic facility is scheduled for completion in December 2001 - just in time to host the Swiss national hockey team, which plans to practice at the facility during the Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games in February 2002.Read more
