Bridge Veterinary Practice

Bridge Veterinary Practice was opened in October 1986 by Annie & Brian Thompson. Back then Brian was a small animal and equine vet covering Wroxham and the surrounding areas. Annie was the receptionist and nurse and from there the practice has grown. Changes within the profession began to see vets focus more on large animal, equine or small animal... practice; thus the practice became the small animal practice it is today. Lots of the staff have been with Bridge for over fifteen years. David Martin joined the practice back in November 2004, first as a locum, but soon joined permanently. His role changed over the years becoming the lead vet in 2009. In November 2015, Brian and Annie retired. David and Marie with their friends and colleagues Roger Bannock, Tom Robertson and Guy Pitcher purchased the practice. This ensured the independence of the practice at a time when so many vets were being brought by corporate groups. David and Marie, with the help and support of their colleagues have ensured Bridge continues as a friendly family run, independent practice.
