Brian Hermanson

Raised in Wisconsin, he completed his undergraduate degree at Carroll College before attending law school at the University of Oklahoma, earning his J.D. He has received notoriety by being appointed by the State of Oklahoma to represent defendants in highly publicized cases including State v. Terry Lynn Nichols(The Oklahoma City Bombing Case) and S... tate v. McBrain. He has authored many articles for various publications including the ABA GP/Solo Law Trends & News(07-09), OBA Criminal Law Section Quarterly Newsletter(05-present), and The Gauntlet(1991). He's received a multitude of honors and awards for his work, including the Clarence Darrow Award as the Outstanding Criminal Defense Lawyer in Oklahoma from the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association(1986), President's Special Recognition Award, also from the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association(2001), The Sole Practitioner of the Year Award by the American Bar Association(2005) and has consecutively won the Star of the Quarter from the General Practice, Solo and Small Firm Division of the American Bar Association from 2006-2009. He has been one of only two attorneys in Ponca City recognized as a Super Lawyer.
