I hold a Masters of Public Administration (MPA) degree from West Virginia University and have been working in nonprofit organizations since 2010. My professional background is diverse, whic... h means I have a wide array of experiences and a unique perspective to bring to the table! I have worked for grassroots volunteer-driven organizations with modest budgets and limited staff, and national advocacy groups with a large donor base and teams of staff at-the-ready. To date, I have worked on issues that include animal protection, poverty and low-income needs, LGBTQ+ advocacy, and higher education. I have even worked in various departments and capacities, including administration, communications, development, and my personal favoritesprograms and campaigns. I know the challenge of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment and managing a budget for a project that has no room for error. I know what it takes to bring teams together and keep them on track to meet a goal. I understand what it takes to build successful programs and projects.
