Breadmore Webb was founded in January 2012 by Martin Webb, 122 years after his ancestors founded Breadmore & Webb originally trading as auctioneers and estate agents in Richmond, Surrey. This original partnership was dissolved in 1913 but Martin's great grandfather continued to trade under the Breadmore & Webb name until his death in the 1950s. The... company was then sold, re-named, and still trades today. Another ancestor of Martin's, Jonas Webb was the joint founder of another successful national country homes chain, so you could say property and Estate agency runs in his blood. When Breadmore Webb was opened, we asked everyone we knew (and lots of people we didn't) how they really feel about estate agents. It was, as they say, something of an eye-opener. So this was our starting point, remove all the irritations about dubious sales tactics, poor communication and lack lustre marketing and find a more open, honest and collaborative way to work with our customers. Since then we have never looked back, Breadmore Webb is now a market leading independent estate agency selling quality property throughout North Essex and along the Suffolk border.
