About A M-C Warehouses
In 1982 AM-C designed and supervised the construction of a 250,000 sq. ft. warehouse consisting of 200,000 sq. ft. of ambient and 50,000 sq. ft. of refrigerated space. In 1983 AM-C began doing business with Skaggs Alpha Beta, a large retail grocery chain. By 1987 the warehouse had been completely remodeled consisting of 190,000 sq. ft. of refrigerated and 60,000 sq. ft. of ambient space with and employee base of 120 employees operating 18 hours per day and 6 days a week. This included a daily work load for receiving an shipping consisting of 80,000 cases per day. In 1990 AM-C acquired and additional 32,000 sq. ft. warehouse with 20,000 sq. ft. of freezer. In 1992 AM-C designed and co-subcontracted the construction of 78,000 sq. ft. freezer expansion to the recently acquired facility, making it a total of 110,000 sq. ft. This gave AM-C a total of 360,000 sq. ft. of operating warehouse space.Explore more
