About Boyson
Boyson, Inc. has a footprint in Virgin Islands history. The Boynes family name is widely known and respected throughout the Virgin Islands and the Caribbean islands. On St. John our local Marine terminal is named in honor of the late Captain Loredon Boynes, Sr., who was the leading pioneer in starting the Ferry Services between the islands. With his years of service and wealth of knowledge he created Transportation Services, a company that has been providing ferry services between the islands for more than 40 years. His sons Captain Noel Boynes, Sr. and Captain Loredon Boynes, Jr. were instrumental in carrying on and expanding the industry with the knowledge and experience they gained from their father. Captain Loredon Boynes, Jr. continue to run Transportation Services while Captain Noel Boynes, Sr. expanded the industry to the car ferry/cargo operation.
