Based in Melbourne Victoria , at Boutique Tutus we pride ourselves on the ability to work collaboratively with our customers ensuring that each tutu or dance costume matches the unique requirements, design and custom measurements required. At the heart of Boutique Tutus is head creator and designer Nikki Hustler . Nikki's love for dance and sewing... developed from a young age in a ballet enriched environment which she shared with a talented b allet loving sister, a creative costume making m um and supportive (and patient) dad. This environment encouraged Nikki to attend ballet classes from 5 years old and compet e in various eisteddfods for Classical and Jazz. Nikki followed her love for ballet and design into her adult years where she created her first classical ballet tutu in 2006 as part of her HSC, she also complet ed of a Bachelor of Design in Fashion and Textiles with Honours at the University of Technology Sydney. Nikki found her calling after completing a classical tutu design course with Tutu.com, a world leader in the design and creating of tutus and costumes. Since then Nikki's passions have blossomed into the success of Boutique Tutus where her sole focus is now creating unique, custom, handmade dancewear for aspiring dancers (young and old!) all across Australia.
