Delivered responsive / adaptive websites to local businesses to promote their business online. At Vecsoft I have been involved in the design and programming of a specialist take-away and restaurant solution developing a desktop application written in C#. I have been solely responsible for the design, programming and support of a web application using ASP.NET MVC technologies and front-end in HTML5, CSS and Javascript using the jQuery library to provide an engaging and smooth experience for end users. I meet with existing clients and prospective clients on a regular basis and maintaining a good relationship requires good verbal and written skills. Working with business owners I have developed software components from the early stages of requirement discussions through to implementation and making adjustments based on customer feedback. Before starting University I worked as a network assistant at a local school. My responsibilities included helping teaching staff and students overcome problems using their computer or software applications, in addition to keeping a network running smoothly (fixing computers, setting up new printers, deploying new applications to the network). When a new year was joining the school I used my programming skills to develop a small program to automate importing new students' logins into Active Directory. While studying at Bournemouth & Poole College I was keen to get myself a part time job and worked at a local clothing store, TK Maxx.
