Born2Tri

Born2Tri was formed in Braintree, North Essex, in 2007 to encourage everyone, regardless of their ability, to take part in the sport of triathlon. Triathlon is officially the fastest growing sport in the UK and Born2Tri is fast becoming one of the most successful multi-sport clubs in the country having grown to over 150 members since we started. Th... e club has eight British Triathlon Federation qualified coaches, provides a range of training sessions and racing advice as well as the guarantee of a warm welcome whatever your standard of fitness. Our training sessions are specifically designed to cater for everyone who wants to take part. No one is left behind even on the steepest hills and we actively encourage both novice and experienced triathletes to share their experiences. The aim of the club is to encourage members, whether they be novice, experienced age group racer or international to race over all distances from Super Sprint to Ironman and beyond (for those insane enough to attempt more than an Ironman!!). On average we organise and run three events a year plus numerous club training events to help members prepare for racing. We are proud of the standards we achieve, the feedback we receive and the numbers entering our events especially since all our events are organised and staffed by volunteers. The only commitment we ask of our members is that they help out at races to ensure we can continue to maintain these high standards.
