Mohan came from of a family of booksellers and begun his bookselling career at age 18. In 1980, he started what became one of Hong Kong's largest distribution companies, Far East Media (HK) Ltd. Like his uncle and siblings he loved the smell of a new book and believed that books were essential for us to grow as a society and human beings. The coupl... e passed on their love for bookselling to daughters Shonee and Arti, who now run the company with mad passion and enthusiasm. Arti was born in Hong Kong and studied Art at the Royal Melbourne University of Technology. Shonee read law at the University of London and got her MBA from the University of Durham. They are deeply-rooted in Hong Kong and part of the business community. Today, the company is run by chairwoman, Nisha Mirchandani, daughters, Shonee and Arti, and a core management team from all over the world with strong retail backgrounds. Bookazine now has 9 shops across Hong Kong. We are located in some of Hong Kong's most prestigious malls and office buildings, including IFC mall, Prince's Building, Exchange Square, Pacific Place, Festival Walk and Times Square. We also have shops in areas where large local communities live, such as Lyndhurst Terrace, Repulse Bay and Discovery Bay.
