Our goal is to provide both a superior customer experience and tremendous value for our customers. Karen Opper , a former US Army combat medic , has over... six years of experience in the book business, first as a librarian at a church and then as a book reviewer and blogger. Belle Opper has over five years of experience working within her school's libraries. Books are our passion. That Book Store is a locally veteran owned and operated bookstore in Wethersfield, CT. That Book Store LLC is owned and managed by book lovers who have their finger on the pulse of the book industry. We bring our unique experience and love of literature to owning and managing a place for book enthusiasts to come and get personalized recommendations from book lovers. We work within and for the local community to bring a space that encourages education and entertainment for literature lovers. Our store is a destination for readers to gather and for local literary gatherings such as author meet and greets and book signings, book clubs, poetry and writing groups along with children's story time. That Book Store is an independently owned bookstore in southern Hartford county where you can browse and buy books, ask questions, get advice and recommendations, and/or just hang out and talk about books all in one place.
