In 1978, Heinz Bohr began Bohr Precision Machining with one machine in a small industrial park garage. His goal was to own and operate a business that didn't just talk about quality and how much they claimed to care about their customers, but one that actually practiced this. As a result, the business began to grow. Additional machines meant more manpower was necessary to meet the ongoing demands of loyal customers. This was followed by adding more personnel, a saw and milling machine. After nearly thirty years, Bohr Precision Machining has continued to thrive and expand - overcoming global adversity like 9/11/01, competition from Asia - China and India, and other market changes.
