About Body Tools
We are a distributor and manufacturer of fine massage tools, body care products & educational materials. The History of Bodytools: Bodytools truly had humble beginnings. Bodytools began in 1982 out of the trunk of an orange Volkswagen hatchback in Venice Beach, CA selling massage tables to the local community. Later, the operation moved to nearby Van Nuys, CA. Additionally we traveled extensively all over the country, being on the road for weeks at a time visiting stores and going to tradeshows to build the business. Buyers would visit the tradeshows and purchase a slowly growing line of massage tools. In 1987 we opened a storefront in Sherman Oaks, CA where Bodytools grew considerably larger. In 1994 we sold the retail store location to The Bodywork Emporium so we could focus solely on wholesale supplying and manufacturing.
