Bobby Lawrence karate is a unique style of karate that consists of the best of traditional Japanese Karate, American Kwon Shu, Modern Sport Karate, and practical aspects of American Ju Jitsu. Bobby Lawrence Karate, sometimes referred to simply as BLK, is a unique eclectic system of karate developed by Master Bobby Lawrence. Master Lawrence has been... training in karate for over 40 years! He has trained extensively with some of the best martial artists in the whole world, including, Grand Master Richard Callahan and Senior Grand Master Ed Parker, the Father of American Karate. Master Lawrence began teaching karate in Utah in 1978. He received his Master recognition in 1994, from Grand Master Callahan. Master Bobby Lawrence, his wife Charlene and all three of their sons: Justus, Dallas, and Miki, have earned advanced degrees of black belt and have won state, national and even world titles in Sport Karate. But their greatest skills are in the way they teach karate to their students. They make learning fun.
