Boatland

Established in 1961, by Bob & Betty Runciman, Boatland Inc. was founded with the intention of bringing families together through recreational boating. An avid boater himself, Mr. Runciman felt that there was no better way to create lasting memories, than those made out on the water. In fact the company still have customers today, who visit Boatland... , and reminisce of their boating past with their families, and wish to pass those same memories onto their children. Following their father's retirement in 1976, brothers Gary and Lee Runciman, assumed the day-to-day operations of Boatland Inc. They knew the company was poised for growth, and grow it did. Over the next 20 years, Boatland expanded to over 44,000 square feet of space, and introduced a new state-of-the-art service & parts department. In addition, Boatland purchased 4 additional acres, of neighboring property, and built a 30,000 square foot, climate controlled storage facility. These improvements truly gave Boatland the ability to meet all of the company's customers needs, from pontoons to sport yachts. Today, Boatland is still family owned and operated, and maintains arguably the most experienced staff of factory-trained technicians, parts and accessory specialists, and sales personnel in the company's market place. In fact, a majority of the company's staff has been with Boatland for 20-plus years! The company's customers, then and now, have come to expect the best products and best services available.
