BoardSpot came directly out of our work with local, community-based nonprofits in our hometown of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Winn Jewett, BoardSpot co-founder and CEO, has built custom board management solutions for his website clients in the years leading up to launching BoardSpot. There are plenty of fancy board management tools available, but they come with a hefty price tag. In our work with nonprofits, we found that most organizations werent using these tools because they were too expensive and had unnecessary features.
