Our entryway floor product and process experts have earned many patents, including one for a breakthrough idea; a floor mat with edges that interlocked to create custom-sized continu... ous mats. Our original mat was designed for shower and locker rooms, but from that first, basic product we've extended the idea to a complete range of innovative entryway floor solutions. In the early 1990s, we re-developed our original design to accommodate the heavier foot traffic in commercial and retail applications. We changed the material to make it more durable, and modified the construction and arrangement of the elements to enhance its strength. Our concept and design have been widely copied, a testament to the ingenuity of our entryway system solutions. The benefits of our design are clear when you enter almost any major retailer. As you pass through the entryway, the dirt or water on your shoes will probably be removed and captured by one of our entryway systems ... or a competitor's product based on our concept.
