Bluffstone Therapeutic Massage

Im Brandon Standorf, Licensed Massage Therapist. I am a native of Prairie du Chien, and the son of Cindy and Robert (Bob) Standorf. I graduated from Prairie du Chien High School in 1991and attended Augustana College in Rock Island, IL where I met my future wife. I earned a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and... moved to Portland, OR in 1997. In 2003, I moved to the Chicago, IL area with my fiancé and her daughter. In 2004, Rachel and I were married and celebrated our union in my hometown; it was on this day that I received my first life-changing massage treatment, a gift from a dear friend. While seeking to resolve my own chronic back pain, I discovered the benefits of therapeutic massage and became convinced of the effectiveness of these treatments and their capacity to improve daily comfort and quality of life. I earned my Massage Therapy Certificate from Harper College in Palatine, IL in 2009; shortly afterward, we relocated our family to the mountains outside of Denver, CO; meanwhile, I practiced my new craft at Elements Therapeutic Massage in Littleton, CO. My wife, Rachel, is native to the Chicago area; she provides dog sitting services at our home and does business as Good Dog Sits; we love dogs, though we don't currently have any of our own. Our daughter is grown and lives in Michigan near her maternal grandparents. Objects in this picture may now be balder and grayer than they appear. After moving back to town in October of 2013, I realized that there were many people in this area who could benefit from the work that I had learned to do. In January of 2015 my wife and I opened Bluffstone Therapeutic Massage in our home in order to share my unique skills with anyone looking for an alternative to surgery and medications.
