Blue Thumb Services strives to employ only the most highly qualified providers available in the state. We provide in-house training and certification for CPR, First Aid and Article 9. Each of our managers is trained in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as well as Client Intervention Training (CIT) 1 and 2. Our managers personalize habilitation goals... and strategies for our clients, and spend quality one-on-one time ensuring that each provider is individually trained to work most effectively with their consumers. All of our managers have extensive experience in working with the developmentally disabled and are uniquely qualified to share their knowledge when training providers. Our Spanish speaking managers and providers enhance understanding and communication with consumers and their families, providing peace of mind and building trust. Blue Thumb Services puts the individual needs and safety of our clients first, and will work to assign the best provider for the consumer, whether male or female. We carefully select all of our providers and perform enhanced background checks. Frequent visits while providers are working with consumers are also a routine part of our management process, in addition to scheduled state review visits.
