About Blue Olive Resort
Five months into launching Blue Olive Resort (a name chosen from my daughter Alexs childhood nickname, Blue Cat, and her Im grown nickname for me, Olive), Alex and Dave got engaged. YES!!! It was a mother-daughter dream come true: working together to create our very own fashion line, while simultaneously embarking on planning a 5-day destination wedding in my family home of Charleston, South Carolina. Who knew at the time what an audacious undertaking and amazing journey we had begun. Blue Olive was envisioned as a vacation-inspired wardrobe of casual easy pieces that transition from the beach to the city streets, a line that is unique in its ageless appeal.
