For all but the most complicated projects, we'll have a written estimate ready for you within 2 days. Blue Heron Construction, Inc. was formed by Nathan Kendrick in 2007. Nathan has over 10 years of experience working in residential construction. Upon earning a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University, Nathan worked as an Engineer for Northrop Grumman in their Nuclear Engineering Department. After several years in this field Mr. Kendrick decided to return to his true passion as a residential contractor. Billy Abato has since become an operating partner and owner of Blue Heron Construction, Inc. Having completed both his Bachelor's and Master's of Business Administration, Billy is a dual graduate of James Madison University. He has been in the field for 20 years working as a lead carpenter, estimator, and project manager. His expert knowledge of the insurance process is tremendously helpful in getting customers from an adjustor estimate through to the final payment when an insurance claim has been filed.Read More
