Blue Door of York has been providing quality student houses in York for over twenty years. We pride ourselves on being efficient, friendly and helpful. We're not agents. We own all of our York student houses so we take good care of them and you. All of our student houses in York are between 4 to 9 minutes walk from the York St John University Fount... ains Learning Centre. Our standard tenancy is twelve months from the start of July to the end of June and we keep our rents as low as possible to help you during your studies. We don't charge holding fees, agent's fees, signing fees or any fees at all for our student accommodation in York. Just choose a house, pay a £200 deposit (which is held by the independent Deposit Protection Service) sign a contract and move in! It's that simple. All our houses comply with York St John University's Code of Best Practice for Student Accommodation. This means all our houses comply with the latest safety regulations including fire doors, mains wired smoke and heat alarms, fire extinguishers and modern electrical safety systems.
