Originally founded in 1999 by Lane Hoberman, Blind Depot is a full service family owned & operated business with emphasis on service. Lane does all the measuring himself as well as all the installations. Blind Depot does not utilize any sub-contractors. Lane has been in the window treatment industry since 1986. There he was an Operations Manager, Trainer & Shutter Installer. After gaining much experience in decorating & sales, Lane opened Blind Depot. Blind Depot was originally located on Elizabeth Lake Rd in Waterford. He was there for 8 years before he closed the showroom to focus more on in home sales & full service installation. Lane also handles all other aspects of his business such as order processing, scheduling as well as showroom sales & customer service.
