Established in 2016, Black Dog Motorcycle Co is the vision of Ryan and Jennifer Miller, who for years, dreamed of opening a motorcycle shop unlike any North Alabama has ever seen. With influences from the great shops of the Western United States, Black Dog's mission is to take you back to the era when biking was raw, gritty and real. After years of... working inside dealerships, Ryan's vision was to get away from the commercialization and "big business" of motorcycle shops today and get back to the basics: performing quality repair and service on motorcycles...biker's bikes...for people who live to ride. As a young child, Ryan spent hours with his father every weekend, browsing the local Harley Davidson dealership, dreaming of one day owning his own. That passion never waned and as a teenager, he owned his first Harley and has had one ever since. For over 20 years, Ryan has learned every aspect of repairing a motorcycle and has improved upon his craft to the point of mastery. After working for a local dealership, he became a factory trained and certified Harley Davidson Technician. When not working on bikes for customers at the dealership, he was working on his own in his garage, and building custom bikes. He now brings that vision, dedication and passion to his own shop.
