Bitterroot Early Learning Center

Bitterroot Early Learning Center has been a licensed childcare/ early learning center since September 2005, and in that time we have enrolled and served many families from all over the Bitterroot Valley. Bitterroot Early Learning Center offers families the opportunity to have a hands on approach to their child's education. At Bitterroot Early Learn... ing Center we focus on an active learning environment where children can learn through their experiences and discoveries during play. We believe it is important for adults to establish a supportive climate where children can have positive interactions with adults and children alike. Our daily routine supports child initiative, social experiences, flexible structure, curriculum, individual, large and small group experiences and interactions. Our curriculum covers all learning domains including creative representation, language and literacy, initiative and social relations, music and movement, & math and science. Teachers conduct formal assessments to determine each child's developmental level. Teachers, then, meet with parents and make learning goals for each child.
