Bio-Resources, Inc. (BRI) has a core staff of three biologists: Kendrick Moholt and David McCullough, senior scientists, are co-owners of the firm who share responsibilities for project management and reporting on all projects and C. Val Grant PhD, project manager and senior scientist. Our established team of subcontractors includes wetland scienti... sts, vegetation analysts, botanists, threatened and endangered plant specialists, range scientists, and environmental inspectors. Permanent staff members include; Miriam Hugentobler, technical writer/editor; and Peg Nave, human resource manager/editor. Our staff holds memberships in various state, regional, and national associations including the American Ornithologists Union, Association of Field Ornithologists, National Audubon Society, Society for Range Management, Southwestern Association of Naturalists, The Wildlife Society, Utah and Nevadas Native Plant Societies, Society of Wetland Scientists, and the Society for Ecological Restoration. BRI is headquartered in Enterprise, Oregon. Enterprise is located 65 miles east of La Grande, in the beautiful Wallowa Mountains. Here, we maintain an office, laboratory and storage space. From this location we are able to mobilize to project sites quickly and efficiently. We use a networked IBM-compatible computer system. Our primary operating system is Microsoft Windows XP and Vista. Our word processing software is Microsoft Word. We have capability to produce documents in a variety of other common word processing formats. We can also produce PDF files with Adobe. Our spreadsheet software is Excel. All of the companys workstations have Internet access software, and the staff members may be reached by e-mail as well as by cellular phone. These systems allow us to effectively and efficiently handle and manipulate databases, and to compile and generate technical reports in a clear and professional format.
