Prior to founding Biltmore Dermatology Associates in 2000, Dr. May was an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine where she established the Pigmented Lesion and Multidisciplinary Melanoma Clinic and was a teaching scholar. She and Dr. Lisa May founded Biltmore Dermatology in 2000. She earned her medical degree from Wright State University School of Medicine and completed her Dermatology Residency at The University of Louisville. Her interests include running, skiing, biking, and spending time with family. Alison earned her Bachelor of Science degree from East Tennessee State University. She was graduated Cum Laude with a major in psychology and minor in biology. She and her husband then moved to South Florida where she attended Nova Southeastern University and earned a Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies and was graduated with University Honors. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and a member of the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Alison's hobbies include running and decorating cakes with buttercream icing for family and friends. She enjoys spending time with her husband and son and visiting her family's farm in East Tennessee.Read More
