On January 1, 2015, Lynn Blodgett founded Bigmoon Power. A company dedicated to developing a new technology to harness the moon's power through the tide and to develop a new, more sustainable business model in renewable energy. On December 31, 2014, Lynn Blodgett retired from Xerox Corporation. Blodgett was appointed to president of Xerox Services... in January 2012. Prior to this appointment, he was president and chief executive officer of Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., A Xerox Company. He served as the leader of ACS - Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. - since November 2006. He was appointed a corporate executive vice president of Xerox when the company acquired ACS in February 2010. Blodgett was instrumental in building ACS into the world's largest diversified business process outsourcing (BPO) and information technology (IT) services company with $6.5 billion of annual revenue and 78,000 people worldwide. In 2009, he was inducted in the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals' Hall of Fame for his work to transform the industry. Prior to his appointment of president and CEO, he was executive vice president and chief operating officer. In this position, he was responsible for the company's broad-based business process outsourcing and information technology operations and solutions delivered to commercial and government markets. Blodgett is a pioneer in the BPO market. In 1983, he and his brother co-founded Unibase, a data entry company acquired by ACS in 1996. The acquisition expanded ACS' capabilities in the relatively new BPO services arena. ACS created an entire service segment dedicated to delivering superior BPO solutions, and today this business unit is core to ACS' complete BPO service offerings. ACS has consistently grown and now delivers comprehensive BPO and IT solutions to all major industries and supports client operations in 100 countries.
