Established in 1978. Big Horn Canyon Ranch is a great place for a beginner to try the sport of hunting. You can harvest an animal quickly and easily and take home your meat the same day. You don't even need a hunting license to harvest an animal at our ranch! We try to cater to everyone - we have animals that are wild and we have a lot of animals t... hat are easier to harvest. We do this because we take kids as young as 5 years old on hunts and they need to be able to get a stalk on a critter. We host folks of all different abilities, and for that reason, we've got different kinds of animals for you to choose from. Beginning in 2014, we shifted our focus - we were getting so many requests for meat hogs from families wanting to put good, healthy farm-raised pork on their table. We've always got a nice supply of meat pigs for folks to choose from, and it's much cheaper than the organic supermarket. Parents appreciate feeding their family meat from an animal that they are able to see that is healthy and active, and in a large open area - not kept in small corrals.
