Better Roads Inc. is a Southwest Florida-based construction and paving company with more than 75 years of industry experience, tracing its roots to a family construction business founded in Wisconsin in 1927 and expanded to the Southwest Florida region beginning in 1935. The company provides comprehensive construction and paving services throughout Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Desoto, Glades, Highlands, Hendry, Hardee, and Okeechobee counties, as well as southern Sarasota County. To secure its supply chain and maintain competitive pricing and quality standards, Better Roads strategically developed Southern Sand and Stone Inc. in 1991 near Naples and acquired Coral Rock quarry and Advantage Transportation in the North Fort Myers area in 1999, ensuring reliable aggregate sourcing and logistics capabilities. With over 300 employees and annual revenues between $90 million and $100 million, Better Roads Inc. maintains the financial strength to reliably fulfill its commitments.
