We are a ministry of Rio Vista Community Church and are proud of our school, which offers excellent academics in an intimate setting in the downtown Ft. Lauderdale area. This approac... h begins with our youngest students in our two year old program and continues all the way through our elementary and middle school grades. Our 8th graduates are accepted into the county's most competitive private high schools and public school magnet programs, where they continue to excel. The results of last year's IOWA Test of Basic Skills speak for themselves. The average Bethany student in our Kindergarten through 2nd grade classes performed at least an entire grade level higher than the national average. In each of Bethany's 3rd through 8th grade classes, the average student was at least two grade levels higher than the national average. Our incoming eighth grade students are performing at a level on par with the nation's average eleventh grader. Bethany is a small school that offers an impressive range of enrichment opportunities and after school activities. Our preschool level students are able to take advantage of the same specials as upper school students; such as, Art Computer, Library, Music, Physical Education and Spanish.
