Best Environmental Technologies in cooperation with independent producers Lloyd and MacKay Ross; and Wally and Christine Lentz of of Clear Hills County, Alberta, Canada compared the effect on plant height, moisture content, DM (Dry Matter) yield, forage quality and brix level on six oat varieties when treated to additional nutrients using the Best... Farming System products TM Agricultural (formerly known as Soil Rejuvinator), Foliar Fertilizer and Seed Germination. The Oat varieties included: Athabasca, Bunker Triticale, CDC SO-I, Mustang, Taza Triticale and Tyndal Triticale. The studies were published by the Peace County Beef & Forage Association in their Annual Report. In partnership with the Shenzhen Bai Shi Tai Environmental Technogy Company, Best Environmental Technologies conducted a large scale research study on the effect of using TM Agricultural on Potato crops in 8 different locations throughout China and Mongolia. Potato production increased at every location, ranging between 10.9% to 36.5%. On average Potato production increased by 18.2% across all locations. Additional recorded observations include loosened and less compact soil with improved water retention, plants with better developed root systems, stronger healthier plants, earlier flowering, decreased incidence of potatoe scabbing, ealier production of potatoes, and increased numbers of larger sized potatoes at harvest. The health of the plant is just as important in the early stages of growth and development as early health is in humans. The first roots emerging from the seedlings, in the early stages of seed germination, are responsible for establishing the plant firmly in the soil and also for the absorption of nutrients from the soil. During the process of early plant establishment in the soil, seedlings require essential nutrients to be readily available, extremely close to those first roots.
