We offer your family a range of behavioural services to promote your child's progress, includ... ing: Intensive early intervention for young children ages 3-7 using the Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS). Behavioural assessments and individual behaviour plans for children ages 6-19 to reduce or eliminate problem behaviour and replace them with more socially appropriate behaviours. Communication training, including verbal behaviour, the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and/or sign language. Improved sleep habits. Toileting independence. Self-management, including relaxation training. Social skills development, including joint attention training. Visual strategies, such as picture schedules and social stories. Rather, we advocate individualized behavioural plans based on a systematic assessment. The grab-bag approach-"try this approach and if it doesn't work, then try this, and if that doesn't work then try this", is often ineffective, costly and prone to unwanted side effects for both parent and child. All of our behaviour plans include comprehensive training so that after our involvement concludes, your family will have new and effective skills to use with your child.
