Bernardinia Baroque Ensemble

As part of Philadelphia's vibrant early music scene, La Bernardinia Baroque Ensemble specializes in chamber music from 1600-1750 presenting engaging programs of repertory from France, Germany, Italy, and England. Performing on copies of period instruments, the core ensemble consists of Rainer Beckmann, recorder; Donna Fournier, viola da gamba; and... Marcia Kravis, harpsichord. Guest musicians are often invited to join the ensemble in their exploration of the extensive and varied repertoire of baroque chamber music. La Bernardiinia is joined by Laura Heimes, soprano and Paul Miller, violin and viola 'amore in the 2019-20 concert season.
