Berean Baptist Church

Berean Baptist Church was established in 1987 under the leadership of Pastor Paul Gordon. Dr. Gordon served until June 1990, at which time the church called Dr. Larry Lilly as pastor. Berean Baptist Church met in several different locations until October 1990 when the former Otter Creek Church of Christ property was purchased by Berean Baptist. In... 2009 Berean Baptist Church bought a quad modular building from Clay County School system at Brazil, IN, for $1000 and paid a king's ransom to have it moved and setup at the Berean Baptist Church location, thus doubling our space. (Facilities) Berean Baptist Church features solid Bible preaching and teaching with emphasis on Reaching, Raising, and Restoring people, many of whom have lost their way along life's path. Our music program is Christ honoring/blended and provides opportunities to develop while serving in the Music Ministry at Berean Baptist Church. Nursery, children's ministries, and other areas of training are provided as Godly men and women are enabled to lead. The Word of God is central to the life of each member and thus to the body as a whole. We believe that Christ, through the written word, is able to effect change in any person's life, break chains of addiction, and enable broken people to be made whole and profitable to God's work and the community. We stand by the often repeated truth, "We hold the Bible to be the final authority in all matters of faith and practice."
