Benchmark Motors Inc. is a full service automotive repair facility that has been in business since 1987. Danny Grant (Our Owner) had a passion for machines that started at a very young age with his first go kart and mini dirt-bike at ten years old. Later on in his life, Danny started working at a Mustang restoration shop tuning his mechanical skill... s. When work slowed he decided maybe a career change was in order so he thought computers and electronics were the way of the future. He started to study electronics and computer science. While Danny was in school he worked as a computer repair technician. One of Danny's side duties while he was working for the computer company was to maintain the companies cars, which included two Mercedes-Benz. If Danny needed parts or special tools for these cars, he found Benchmark Motors to be an invaluable resource. After making a few trips to Benchmark Motors in it's infancy, he realized that newer cars have everything he has ever wanted in a life long career; computers, electronics, and mechanical parts. This was the perfect combination! At that time Benchmark only serviced BMW and Mercedes Benz. In 1993 Danny gained employment at Benchmark Motors, and from there eventually went on to purchase the business from the previous owner. Since then, Benchmark has expanded multiple times, adding more shop space and a new waiting room. Benchmark also opened its doors to most other foreign and domestic automobiles and became an authorized Bosch service center. Benchmark Motors is the only independent repair facility in the area that has factory level repair and scan tools for; Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, and Volvo.Read More
