Belvedere Place Development Ltd. (BPD) was incorporated in 1994, and during its infancy was involved in property development in the Kelowna area. In 2004, BPD expanded its operations to include tendering and construction of civil engineering projects throughout Northern BC, Alberta, and the Northwest Territories. BPD has experienced rapid growth si... nce 2004 and in 2009 was ranked 34th in Canadas Fastest Growing Companies. Then in 2012 and in 2013, our president, Kelsey Ramsden, was awarded Canadas #1 Top Woman Entrepreneur by Profit Magazine, a very prestigious award for a young, entrepreneurial, woman in the Construction Industry. 2010 was a pivotal year for us. BPD purchased Spring Point Management Ltd. (SPM). Its sole shareholder, along with the permanent staff of SPM, joined BPD as full time employees. SPM was incorporated in 1987 for construction projects in Western Canada and the Caribbean. The overseas experience has added a wealth of diversity to the collective experience of BPD. Recent projects in dam construction and bridge replacement are other examples of how BPD has been able to adapt and embrace change on many levels of its operations, including management and work strategies.
