About BELTRAMI
BELTRAMI was founded in 1986 by Herwig Callewier who understood as a Belgian agent for the German Jura limestone producer STIEGLER, that customers needed a reliable wholesaler in their region in order to realise an efficient service with rigidly enforced quality control and a large stock holding. In 1989 Stefaan Callewier, Herwig's brother, was introduced as a managing partner in the company. His contribution soon made Beltrami's production facilities grow. At the beginning of the nineties Beltrami started to make a name for itself for discovering new products and finishes in natural stone: as one of the first in Europe, Beltrami began the direct import of Chinesegranites and basalts e.g. PEPPERINO DARK, TWILIGHT and SUNRISE. Later followed the ORIENTAL BASALT (1999), JININ STONE and MOORS GREEN (2002).Explore more
