Belaire Environmental, Inc.'s (BEI) capabilities and experience are centered in the areas of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (COE) permit support, wetland habitat creation, endangered species evaluations, NEPA environmental assessments and other environmental areas. Over t... he past 35 years, personnel of Belaire Environmental, Inc. have played a key leadership role in permitting some of the largest and most controversial projects along the coasts of Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, and other regions. We have been directly and/or indirectly involved in the acquisition of at least 1000 permits. We have performed planning, permitting, and/or construction of more than 3000 acres of fresh, brackish, and salt marshes as restoration and/or mitigation measures. We have installed more than three million wetland plants. Our wetland nursery operations include more than 3,000 acres in Texas and Louisiana. Our client list includes a diverse base of oil and gas, real estate, dredging and other private industry companies, as well as the Corps of Engineers (Galveston District), the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, and the National Park Service. Since virtually all of BEI's business centers around the COE permitting process, we have built an excellent working relationship with the COE and other resource agencies. This relationship allows BEI to provide its clients with effective, efficient, and timely permit support services which result in rapid and successful COE permit issuance.
