Bee Wrappy

After looking at our food intake and waste habits, along with the way we used single-use plastic and clingwrap we decided to pursue a better way of wrapping our food and reducing our impact on the environment. Our answer was reusable beeswax infused cotton food wraps - an easy and simple way for our family to do just one thing better. We decided to... hand-make our own food wraps which involved selecting beautiful cotton and prints, finding the perfect mix of ingredients like beeswax, jojoba oil, tree resin and coconut oil, and finally crafting our first ever Bee Wrappy in our kitchen! We found we easily and quickly adjusted to using our Bee Wrappy food wraps, they became an integral part of our lifestyle and daily food preparation and preservation and we also started using them on picnics and days out. Not long after, our friends and family noticed our new go-to food wraps and they wanted some of their very own. We started making and giving them Bee Wrappy packs and their feedback was as positive as we'd hoped - they found the wraps easy to use, they loved their food longer and they noticed a change in their food waste and habits of using single-use plastic. Needless to say we were so pleased they loved Bee Wrappy as much as we did! This encouragement gave us a little push and we launched Bee Wrappy at a local market and also started selling online and via word-of-mouth. Our lovely customers are both local to us and extend overseas, including from buyers from the US, UK, Netherlands, Canada and Scandinavia. Most of the people we have met who are interested in Bee Wrappy have just wanted to do something a little bit better than what they are doing now - so it's quite humbling to be able to be a part of their waste reduction journey.
