The origin of Beck Companies dates back to 1956. The company's founder, Dan McCarty, started his first company, K.D. Construction, that specialized in residential and light... commercial foundation work with an emphasis in mini storage construction. K.D. Construction quickly made a name for itself in the San Antonio construction community by providing quality work with exceptional customer service. In 1984, Dan expanded his business to form Beck ReadyMix Concrete Co. understanding the importance and value of a dependable readymix concrete company from his many years as a concrete contractor. Over time, the need for a more affordable way to dispose of construction material became apparent and the idea of starting a landfill was born. In 1991 Beck Landfill first opened its gates behind the Beck ReadyMix Concrete location in Schertz, Texas, providing the San Antonio area with an alternative to the larger and more expensive landfills. Beck Dispose-All was created in 2002 to better serve the company's customer's needs by providing quick and affordable roll-off dumpsters.
