We are a referral resource comprised of Birth and Postpartum Doulas, Childbirth Educators, Lactation Educators and passionate women who are here to help you transition to parenthood. Our goal is to support parents through this exciting time in their life! Our referral site provides local resources of professionals in the field of childbirth and parenting. Our certified childbirth educators offer numerous styles of childbirth preparation classes for your educational needs. Education is one of the key elements to having a satisfying and empowering birth experience. All of our doulas have been trained under either DONA International or a similar recognized certifying organization. Birth doulas support laboring couples through their birth experience, while supporting all birthing choices. Postpartum doulas are important to the new family as they bring home their precious miracle of life!! The birth of a baby is an exciting and overwhelming time in the new familys life, so the postpartum doula is there to help with the transition into parenthood, allowing you to feel more confident and supported as new parents. Our mission statement reflects that of the International Childbirth Education Association: Freedom of Choice, based on knowledge of Alternatives. Our goal is to provide information, education, empowerment and support for all types of birth experiences, supporting all personal choices of the parents, and providing a doula for every woman who wants a doula.
