Beauregard Arc is a licensed day program provider and has provided services to the developmentally disabled since 1963. BArc provides work, work training and life skills training for developmentally disabled adults which enhances the lives of our participants and allows them to be seen as productive and active citizens in the community. We believe... that each individual is a person of worth and value. Each person has individual skills, talents and strengths which they contribute to the community. Our participants work in the following areas: Sewing group - making chairback bookbags; Arts & Crafts projects to sell Lawn Maintenance crew - mowing yards, raking leaves, etc. for businesses & individuals City Maintenance crew - Contract to keep the City of DeRidder's streets clean Recycling Groups - Cardboard pick-up for businesses; Recycle drop off for city for cardboard, books, newspapers, aluminum cans, tin, copper; Shreading for individuals and businesses at a nominal cost.
