Beatrice Gilmore School is a wonderful third and fourth grade elementary school nestled in the suburban community of Woodland Park. The company prides ourselves on being a small school with a strong sense of community and collaboration. Beatrice Gilmore utilizes a collaborative approach towards education. Students, staff, parents, and community members all work together to foster an optimal learning experience for every student. The company's scheduling template provides daily language arts and math blocks. Science, social studies and health classes help to reinforce literacy skills, as well as, provide students with opportunities to think critically and apply their learning to today's global society. Classes in art, technology, music, physical education, and world language round out the students' weekly schedules. Additionally, basic skills instruction and a gifted and talented program assist classroom teachers in providing targeted instruction that meets the needs of all learners. Technology integration is at the forefront this year with all fourth graders have been provided with a personal laptop. Third graders have access to computers on a regular basis and all classrooms utilize the Smartboard technologies. Beatrice Gilmore School is supported by a dedicated Home and School Association. The members of the HSA are committed to the educational success of all students and provide essential resources that support cultural arts events, family fun events, and school initiatives.
