Welcome to the 2021 Bear Lake Triathlon & Duathlon, scheduled for Sunday, May 30, 2021. We are excited and looking forward to live racing in 2021. This premier, long running athlete and family friendly event is always the first triathlon of the season for West Michigan. This event is embraced and fully supported by the City of North Muskegon and it... s departments (Police, Fire & Rescue and DPW), Muskegon County Sheriff Marine & Road Patrol Divisions, Muskegon County Road Commission, White Lake Twp. Fire & Rescue, North Muskegon Public Schools and North Muskegon Schools Athletic Boosters. While the COVID-19 Virus has wreaked havoc and hardship on everyone worldwide, we have collaborated with the City and County Health Department and have approval with our very detailed COVID-19 Return to Racing Protocols . These may be viewed on the page titled COVID-19 PROTOCOLS . Event details are approved and in place and we have opened registration. The venue and courses are approved and will be ready for you on race day. Participants have numerous options to race.
