Eddie White, CP has worked in Prosthetics and Orthotics for 40 years. He came into the field as an apprentice in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a major in Biology. He began his training and worked as a technician learning the field from the ground up. He received his Certificate in Prosthetics in 1982 from New York University Medical School and became a Certified Prosthetist in 1983. Eddie founded Beacon Prosthetics and Orthotics in 1997 because he is passionate about what we do and strive to see all of our patients Live life without Limitations to the greatest extent possible. Eddie enjoys spending time with his wife outdoors and traveling. Karo joined the Beacon team in 2021 as a Certified Prosthetist / Orthotist. After earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from The Ohio State University, she pursued a Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Through her residency program, Karo had the privilege of practicing O&P in New York City, Boston, Raleigh, Houston, and Chicago. She is ABC certified in Prosthetics and Orthotics. While Karo loves learning and nerding out to biomechanics, she also enjoys spending time outdoors, powerlifting and all things spooky. Brian's career in O&P began at Harmarville Training Institute with the Orthotic Technologies program in Pittsburgh, PA.
